Depression
Depression can present in many ways. It’s not always feeling down or sad; it can be, but sometimes it’s changes in your appetite or sleep. How is your energy and motivation? Are you losing interest in the things that usually bring you joy? If you’re noticing these changes, it’s time to talk about it.
Anxiety
Do you find yourself worrying, more on edge, even irritable at times? Most people experience anxiety every once in a while, but if it’s a consistent pattern it can cause both mental and physical illness over time. Let’s work to manage your anxiety instead of letting it manage you.

Trauma is an emotional response to an experience one has been through in their life. Everyone’s experiences are different, therefore, so is their trauma response. Addiction disorders are common and can be life-threatening. Yet, patients do not seek treatment due to the high stigma associated with addiction. We can help you manage this by treating the underlying psychiatric disorders, working through psychological traumas, and using anti-cravings and detox medications for associated symptoms.
Memory & Cognitive Changes
Are you noticing changes in you or a loved one’s memory? There are many underlying causes to memory changes; often, in older people, it’s due to a form of dementia. There are many types of dementia such as Alzheimer’s, vascular (often due to stroke), Lewy-body, etc. Memory loss is often associated with other behavioral changes as well: anxiety, irritability, depression, and sometimes aggression, delusions, and/or hallucinations. Bipolar Disorder & Mood Swings
Bipolar disorder is a highly under-recognized disorder. It is characterized by highs and lows in a person’s mood. It severely affects individual, as well as their families. With proper psychiatric assessment, follow-up, and regular medication intake bipolar disorder can be well-managed. There are other mood and personality disorders that do not fall on the bipolar spectrum, but have some similarities such as mood swings irritability, frequent fluctuations of feeling elevated while around others and then feelings of emptiness, loneliness, or/and despair when alone.
